History On Li:
Once again, Medusa awoke in the lightless bowels of Underworld Castle to which she was bound by divine writ, and raged in the dark at her third humiliating death. Her screams echoed through the winding chasms and shook the very bedrock of the earth. She was now very aware of how powerless her position really was in the divine hierarchy - she was no true ruler of the Underworld. Palutena had not even graced her with that dignity, but merely blinded her with a lie and a false title. In truth, she was just another creature in Hades' army - a minion to be disposed of however he saw fit only to be rebuilt again and again for his amusement. Worse still, each time she was risen, she felt... less herself. There was a growing hollow somewhere within her swallowing up her essence. She shivered to think of what would become of her should Hades' games continue on as they did.

She considered the war she had left behind - Hades must have survived Pit's assault somehow... how else could she have returned from death but by his hand? If Pit had been eliminated, Hades surely would have taken his army to the Overworld to swell his ranks with mortal souls - that was all he ever seemed to care about. What then of Palutena and Skyworld, her home? What of her rightful throne at the Palace of the Sky that she had fought so hard to reclaim? She would never know unless she got herself out of bed to find out. 

Medusa emerged from her chambers to see what had become of the Underworld with her own eyes and found the populace depleted - weak monsters wandered listlessly here and there. Why had she been brought back only to be left unsupervised, in an undefended Underworld with Z-list minions? Paranoia rattled inside of her... she was certain that there was punishment for her treason hidden somewhere in the shadows. Her divine abilities were still recovering but she needed to find out what was happening in the Overworld. She needed emissaries - she needed Champions that she could trust.

Primary Techniques (3):
Snakebite: The mass of coiling snakes that crown Medusa's head and decorate her staff are prone to strike at speed with their fangs bared when their mistress is under threat. (Light Strength Attack; Does 5% Combo-able Damage with 10% chance of Poison)

Dark Magic: As a Goddess of Darkness, Medusa is naturally gifted with dark magic, crafting it into different shapes to assault enemies with waves of darkness. (Medium Wisdom Attack; Does 15% Damage with 10% chance of Blind).

Divine Might: Medusa's heritage as a goddess gives her incredible physical strength which she uses to deal devastating blows with her fists, stomps with her feet and almighty slams with her staff. (Heavy Strength Attack; Does 22% Damage)

Special Techniques (3):
Petrifying Gaze: Despite the enchantments she wears, Medusa can still take advantage of the curse placed upon her by Palutena. She slightly relaxes the illusions hiding the hideousness of her face and unleashes a glare that can freeze enemies in stone. (Light Wisdom Attack; Does 7% Damage with 50% chance of Frozen)

Acid Breath: A monstrous mouth forms on Medusa's palm which expels a streaming cloud of acidic gas. It can continue to expel over time coating targets in acid but the breath will run out. (1st turn: 3x 8% combo damage, 2nd turn: 3x 5% combo damage 10% chance of Burn status, 3rd turn is 1x 5% damage, 100% chance of Burn status)

Void Warp: As an immensely sized giantess in her former life, Medusa made good use of teleportation magic to move around. She can leap into the shadows and reappear at a distance, bursting from her hiding place in an explosion of blackness. She was always a fan of a dramatic entrance. (Heavy Wisdom Attack; Does 28% Damage with a two-turn cooldown)

Final Smash (1):
True Face: Growing to her usual giant size, Medusa reveals her true cursed appearance and unleashes a powerful laser of doom from her single unblinking eye that devastates someone unfortunate enough to be caught under her blazing sight. (60% damage to a single target)

Yo! I'm here to rescue Medusa and earn the dark one's favor. Just got a few things to work out and we'll be good to go.

Sinful Feast: This would have to be a special move. A primary attack is usually limited to doing damage and having a secondary effect on hit. Also, technically there can't be any ambiguity in what a move does, so the 200% poison chance would be an issue. You can have it optionally poison people if you want. That would be fine. Though if the recipient weren't willing you'd have to roll accuracy like any other attack.

Underworld Army: This would have to be a special move. Additionally, you would want to establish the stats of these minions so that you know what you need to roll to see if they get hit. You also need to establish how many attacks they get per turn. Usually 1 is enough to prevent roll flooding. For a 6 turn cooldown, assuming one attack per turn, I would say why not increase the HP to like 24 and the attack damage to like 12%? Just a thought off the top of my head.

Special Techniques: We don't usually allow buffs to last more than 4 turns because at that point they just last an entire PVP battle. Additionally, these buffs have no cooldowns or balancing factors. So there's very little separating them from a pure and permanent stat increase. And we'd probably like to avoid min-maxing like that.

If I were to offer my advice. You could have them exhaust Medusa, dealing 2% recoil each for every turn they're active instead of a set duration. Perhaps the first two turns don't count, and once they are voluntarily ended they have a 3 turn cooldown. That would probably fix them real easy-like.

I'm gonna try something different with her. Palutena doesn't seem to go on missions much anyway. Just gonna write her having demoted herself to Demi-God and give her a regular profile. Working on it!
