To this, Godless Kichoji City was the provider, as those who entered through a long staircase at the bottom of the Crestfallen Castle would be able to see the distant city....Huh. A Modern-ish City, Underneath a castle. How Ironic.


The Quest here was simple; Find the source of a mysterious series of S.O.S Texts, And rescue them from whatever they're being attacked by. Using tracking, one would be able to deduce the texts came from the southern part of the city. Awaiting on the Road, was the one who started this mission to begin with.

A Gruff Man, wearing a white suit with a red undercoat, Standing at the corner street where he was supposed to meet his Mission-goers, Yu Narukami and Peri...


The sound of a distant screech was heard, as a Flaming Serpent traced the sky. The gruff man sighed, hufing on a cigarette. "...I hope it aint that thing...Heard bad things about Fire snakes..." He said, as his phone Dinged, updating as his Texter began to update messages.

"...Dammit, It's the freakin' fire snake!"

Meanwhile, standing on a rooftop, a girl adorned in a deep blue uniform smiled to herself. "Well, strange as it is, This  experiment wound up being quite fun! Lets see what happens next..." She said to herself, sitting back, a little Pixie floating by her side as she watched the Gruff Man, hidden from sight...

Yu Narukami was having an... interesting day, that was for sure. Just when he had finally started adjusting to the post apocalyptic-tumultuous land that was Li and the Life Sphere; the poor boy had decided to maybe start helping out around the place in his own way. Thinking he might as well take up a mission to save someone that by the sound of it needed dire help, he traveled by way of public transport all the way to Crestfallen Castle where he assumed the mission to take place... until wandering down into the basement of the castle where he emerged in... A Modern Japanese City???

"Curiouser and Curiouser..." He commented, walking down a bustling night-time sidewalk.

How normal the place was just felt... un-normal for some reason. This modern city... was it real or just another illusion... more mysteries to uncover; now there was something Yu was familiar with. Walking up to the "Gruff" and brightly dressed man at the street corner, Yu briefly looked around before back to a memo on his phone. He supposed that this guy was their mission briefer right? Maybe he would shed some light on what all of this place was...

Hearing him mention something about "Fire Snakes" Yu approached the man, a passive and relatively friendly expression written across his face. "Hello. Are you here about the rescue mission too?" the high school teen questioned, a bit quiet. He didn't want to be a bother to a random stranger; and avoid startling the guy if he actually was their mission caller.

Arriving at the familiar castle was a girl with bright blue and pink hair. This was the castle she arrived to Li at and met... him. One of the only people she knew to truly understand her... tendencies. Peri daydreamed for a moment before jumping off the horse she came in on. Right, time to get to killing. The horse went to do something safer while it waited for Peri to return for her ride back.

Okay, she thinks the messages were supposed to come from the... basement... Okay, she definitely did not remember that down here. It was like a massive... city or something really alien to her more fantasy cities. It was all.. "modern" like the Life Sphere. Peri got her signature lance out and walked down into the city and quickly found two people.

The first was some young boy she was not sure how to make an impression of. He looked a little normal... Too normal. He definitely did not look ready for a fight at all. The other looked like he was trying too hard to be a badass. Everyone knows all you need is cotton candy hair and a killing instinct like no other. "Hey there! I am Peri. Now who do we have to kill to help that 'texter'?" Peri asked with childlike excitement.

...Highschool kids? Jeez. The Gruff man looked at Yu and Peri as they entered the Staircase, that slowly turned to a Modern apperance from its medievil start, as they entered the Godless City.  "Yup, Glad you two could make it...Erm....You Nayrumaki, and Parachute." The Guff man said, getting there names wrong as he closed his smart phone, putting it away. "Already lookin' for a target, Parachute? I like your style..." The Gruff man said, as he looked up in the air...




Releasing a burning flame across the ground, the flying beast flew across building to building, causing tiny Demons that Yu may of recognized as Persona's to scurry from there hiding spots, running to deeper ground. The Flaming Serpent embedded itself in a Sky Scraper, and burrowed through the building to get away...

"That. Thats what you gotta kill...There you go. Have fun kids." The Gruff man said, starting his walk back up the steps. "I aint got no death wish, So, You two can enjoy fighting a god of denouement or whatever it is. See ya' when you get back." He said, leaving to hang around outside crestfallen castle...

Which only left Yu, Peri, and a Building currently housing a flaming serpent.

Suddenly, a Hissing voice came from the building...

"Ehehe....I havent eaten yet....Yet still...I feel...Full.." It spoke, hissing out laughter loudly, Even causing an Oni wearing a very nice buisness suit and curly moustache to run with brief case in tow.

"...Nayru...maki?" Yu repeated, put off a bit by the misnomer.

His eyes briefly wandered to the bubble-gum haired warrioress that was going to be his partner in his mission, a shiver running down his spine for some reason as they made eye contact. Maybe it was the way she was so enthusiastic about killing this threat, but something about Peri was... "off-putting." Nevertheless though, a more pressing matter took up Narukami's attention as he took notice of the giant flaming serpent soaring from building to buildings; with each one in passed creatures began spilling out... creatures that looked oddly like- "A-Are those... Personas?!" Yu exclaimed in shock, seeing ones he had summoned before himself even spilling out like common demonic critters in the flaming creature's wake. So not only was this City strange, but it also had a boatload of Personas all over the place??? "Do all of them have users?"

Turning back to face the gruff mission briefer, Yu bore a disappointed expression as the man was already retreating after pointing out their target. "You aren't helping us?" He murmured, already having the answer though as the man was already on his way out of there. ...oh well, that just meant more for them... more flaming fire snake demon monsters. Pulling a pair of folded glasses from his pocket, Yu began sliding them over his eyes out of habit. "The more things change... The more they stay the same."

After turning back to face the giant snake on the building top, Yu slowly drew his katana in one hand, seemingly from nowhere. "..." Holding out his free hand in front of himself, palm upraised, the highschool boy was relieved and a bit surprised as a spinning blue tarot card began descending from the air in a glowing shimmer. At least he could still use his Personas then... which meant this battle might not be so bad. It was just like fighting another shadow.

Closing his fist around the card, the structure shattered in Narukami's grasp, a blazing blue aura surrounding his body as the wind began whipping around the boy's form.

"Persona!"

As if emerging from the light, a large warrior resembling that of some building-sized Japanese old-modern hybridized warrior descended, hovering just a few meters above the ground stood Yu Narukami's Persona: "Izanagi!"

"Huh, I wonder if it's blood as hot as it looks... I am all about spilling it, don't get me wrong. I just prefer to not get severe burns in the process... Oh well, never got to kill a god before~!" Peri commented as she looked up at the flying behemoth of a snake thing. Wait a second... "Parachute?! Did he just make fun of my name?! After the oversized snake he's next!" the girl realized and snapped noticing he left.

"Personas? Users? What are you talking about?" the warrior gave her partner a puzzled look as he was talking about some things she did not understand. Did he recogonize all these funny looking monsters? "Woah! Did you just summon one of those guys? You have to teach me that! Then I'd never be without a murder partner!" Peri exclaimed excitedly... Thinking more how deadly one she could summon would be than anything.

... That thing is nowhere near her stabbing range though... "Hey! Flaming serpent! Get down here!" Peri called out as she then threw a Killer Ax at it... Man, if only she knew magic...

The Flaming sepents coiling movements suddenly came to a harsh stop, as just about the entire city turned to pure silence, as it slowly moved its atention to Peri, Narukami, and Izanagi. "..." The serpent seemed perplexed on who could be stupid enough to throw a weapon at it, let alone try to fight him. "...I am Sesha. Who are you, stupid enough to dare challenge my power?!" Sesha asked, in a booming voice as it moved to present itself more. It seemed a tad perplexed by Yu Narukami's persona as well, detecting the Godly Power of it.


"...Especially you...Mortals." Sesha said, cackling. "Ive been needing a snack anyways...I wont just rip apart your bodies...ILL DEVOUR YOUR SOULS!!"


Good job Peri. You just got the Literal Deity to hate you both.

Well... this mission was already going swimmingly. Initially, Yu had kinda been hoping to maintain the element of surprise for the first attack since the fire serpent hadn't noticed his Persona being summoned... sadly, that option went out the window after Ms. Murder Fanatic chucked an axe at the thing. "That'll certainly get it's attention..." He muttered inconsequentially, smiling a bit nervously as the fiery demon honed in on the both of them.

"Sesha huh?" Yu pointed his sword up at the creature before hooking one of his arms around Izanagi's left leg, hanging onto the Persona. "Sorry, it but looks like you'll be waiting 'till dinner." Gesturing for Peri to grab on as well, the boy would wait a few extra moments before willing the manifested tarot to rocket up the side of the building to engage their target.

"IZANAGI!"

Throwing it's free arm foreward, the towering warrior let out a silent roar while the sky above them thundered. In seconds, a streak of electrical destruction came blasting down at Shesha. The hairs on the Yu's arm stood on end as the crackling lightning ripped through the air, intending to strike down the hungry deity!
