Lucas apparently stumble to the Busy Bee Lobby. He did come here to do something. To make friends.

He's... lonely. He doesn't know a single person well in Li. He JUST wants to go home, but don't know how. There's only one choice left to prevent his life from being miserable, is to socialize with people he didn't know.

He decides to take a seat and eat a plate of omelets he found on his way. Doesn't taste like his mother used to make, but it's good enough.

Lemres was taking a break from his missions and decided to look around the lobby. No particular reason, really, but it would satisfy his curiosity as to who's new or not, maybe greet the new person if he ever found one. Passing by the seating, he came across Lucas, who looked a tad gloomy sitting all on his lonesome. Lemres is most certainly older, but he's still in school, actually. He attempted to approach him, breaking the ice involving the extra chair.

"Is it okay if I sit here?"

The seat in question was directly next to Lucas.

Lucas looked to Lemres, scanning his appearance. He seems like a good guy, what could go wrong?

"Oh! U-umm, sure..." Lucas said, in a quiet tone. So many things are on his mind now. Lemres, omelets, his mother, his brother, thinking if Lemres is a good guy or not, is trusting Lemres correct, and so much more.



"Do I trust this guy? I don't know... he sounds nice... but... agh, he might just be like Duster anyway..."

Lucas doesn't really say much after, so he keeps eating his omelets without worry.

[Rina]

"Thank you."

Lemres took his seat, sitting next to him. Though, just trying to approach him didn't seem to cut it. Continuing to try and warm up, he proceeded to introduce himself. Sure, he's suspicious at times, but getting past that, he's just a really nice guy.

"My name is Lemres. What's yours?"

"H-hello..! Lem... res... m-my name is L-Lucas... nice to meet you..!!" Lucas quickly reached out for a handshake while shaking himself. It's not normal to see him show such confidence.


Lucas quickly realized himself, and shakes his head out of confusion. "I-I'm sorry... I'm... quite shy... so-- o-oh..! B-by the way... y-you reminded me of someone I know..."

[Rina]

"Nice to meet you Lucas."

Lemres reached out with his gloved hand to shake Lucas'. From what he can observe from his behavior, Lucas is incredibly shy, probably moreso than Rider, actually.

"Don't worry. I'm one of the nice people around here. If you need an-"

"Hm? I remind you of someone you know?"

Lemres cocked his head to the side, curious as to who this other person he's referring to.

"Y-yes..." Oh great, Lucas has started one awkward conversation. That's not a good start. "U-umm... I don't know if you do... but do you know someone named Pokemon Trainer...? Red hat, pretty much wears mostly red... uhm... carries three... creatures... I forgot their names..."

He is sweating a lot, like a LOT. This kid is so nervous this guy he just met will think of him as the weirdest guy on the planet.




Lucas immediately noticed Lemres'... awfully large hat. He managed to ask, "... A-are you a wizard or some sort...?"

Lemres thought about it for a moment. Throughout his ventures outside the sphere, he's met a Pokemon, but not a trainer of them. Though, is he aware that Greninja is a Pokemon? Probably not.

"Mm, sorry, I don't think I have, off-hand. So he primarily wears red, you say? I'll keep an eye out for him."

Lemres nodded, taking mental note of who this 'Pokemon Trainer' is. The fact he's watching him look so nervous does make Lemres distressed somewhat. He's not that unnnerving to be with, is he??? What can he do to make him calm down? Well, the fact he can tell he's a wizard is a start.

"Hehe, you can tell, huh? I come from a town of them."

And with a snap of his right hand, he conjures out a lollipop out of thin air!

"Uwa! You summoned a lollipop..! I-I wish I can summon omelets... but I-I'm a psychic... not a wizard..." Lucas looked at the candy with admiration.

"A-a town full of wizard and witches, you say...? W-well... I come from a village... full of... interesting people... and interesting experiences..." he started to talk about his hometown, Tazmily Village. "I have a friend who is psychic, my father, a friend who is a thief, my dog, and a lot more people over there... I used to have a mother and a twin brother..."

As his mind goes, he reminded himself of the Subspace Emissary as well, "From the Subspace Emissary incident, I also met another friend who is a psychic, but he got turned into a trophy shortly after we bonded a bit... 0-oh, I also met that red Pokemon Trainer too..."

[Rina]

"You can have it if you want."

Lemres kindly handed the lollipop to him. He's got PLENTY where that came from.

"I can see why you're looking for that person. You grew close to him during your ventures."

Lemres began talking about where he came from. It's only fair.

"As where I come from, my home town is full of us wizards, and we learn how to use our magic in schools. The one I attend is one of the high-ranking elite academies, and the material is quite fascinating. As for my family, I live my father, as well as a maid and butler."

"...which is what I would say, had the circumstances not turned sour. It seems we both have families we lost touch with by certain events."

....that went dark fast.

Lucas can see that their talk is going dark than he expected. But....

"O-oh, I-I see... well..." Lucas sighed before he talked further, "My mother was killed by a Mecha-Drago, which was created by one of the Pigmask Army... as for my twin brother..."


"... You can say... I technically killed him... he sacrificed himself by using PK Thunder on me... but I have a Franklin Badge... and it reflected back to him..."

Thinking about the harsh memories, Lucas stopped and hide his face. He doesn't want Lemres to see him cry.

... Great, that went dark even further.

[Rina]

"Oh...that's quite unfortunate..."

Lemres fell silent for an awkward amount of time. Lemres' family is still alive, but... Just saying 'It's not your fault.' doesn't seem appropriate.

"I can sense the hardship of that. Your family is no longer with you, but they'll still be your family from the heavens above. As for me...I suppose I have no family to go home to. My father may be alive, and I may be tied to him by blood, but he is not a father to me. My family is a noble line of dark mages, but he and I had a falling out upon learning what I was pursuing. I went against his wishes by studying light magic. He would talk down on me, refuse to help me practice, he'd sometimes order the maid and butler to not cook for me. The moment he would cease funding my education, I drew the line and cut ties with him."

Lemres sighed. It was certainly a dark and hard time for him leaving home like that, and the bitter memories came rushing to him. His opinion on his father was...conflicting. He may have some lingering resentment for what he did, but...Lemres was too nice to hate him.

"I'm not sure if I'm on the same page since my family is still alive, but I was wholly conscious of leaving home, never to see him again. And yet... despite how much mutual resentment flared up, I'm holding nothing against him. It'd go against my philosophy. The last words I said to him..."

"If learning dark magic meant being unable to spread happiness, then I might as well wake up from this dark dream. Even if I am no longer your son, I hope you'll continue to be happy."

Lucas keeps hiding his face with shame and tears. But, he can't keep being like this longer. He wipes his tears and uncover his face again.

"S-sorry to bring the situation like t-this..." He sniffled, "A-anyways..."


He tried to think of a good way to put the conversation in a lighter tone, then he snaps his fingers, signaling he got a question. "Oh..! You never... opened your eyes... does opening them hurt for you..? You sure you can see where you're walking while closing your eyes...?" He has a lot more questions for Lemres, oh boy.

[Rina]

"It's okay. Sometimes I need a reminder that my life has its bitter moments, or I forget that I can't always be spoiled by sweetness of life."

Lemres looks at a dark chocolate bar he has and sighs, as if he's comparing his life to it. It's still sweet, but it has a level of bitterness to it that lingers, just like the ups and downs of his life. But things might be getting a bit too dark...

"My eyes..."

That's a first. Lemres' eyes have never been questioned before. Back at Primp Town, the students never questioned it. His eyes were shut when he first met the students, so they passed it off as normal because their teacher does it too. Though, Lemres has his own reasons for doing so.

"Oh, there's nothing wrong with my eyes. I can see just fine, closed or open, but the reason why I keep them shut is because I might scare others with them. If you don't mind me demonstrating, this is what they look like."

As he declared, he brushed away his bangs and opened his eyes. Under his eyelids, his eyes are a rather piercing red. He's not albino, but it's still a stereotypical alarming color for eyes.

Lucas is at first a bit shocked about the sudden red eyes, but he quickly... squealed about it?

"Oh my...! I've never seen a human having red eyes before...! I've only seen blue, green, brown.... but red...? Oh my...!"


It's kinda normal seeing him like this, because he's from a village and he only seen red eyes from robots.
